Marvel To Frank Miller: Drop Dead!

Oh, hell no.

Are you saying Marvel did this to snub Miller? Because I see it as exactly the opposite. Miller has long harbored a grudge against Marvel for bringing Elektra back from the dead. I remember a few interviews where he said something along the lines of, "I'm not sure who that is running around in the Marvel Universe dressed like Elektra, but it can't be her because she's dead."

I took this as Marvel's way of saying, "Frank, you're right. See? Elektra is still dead. Now, please come write All-Star Daredevil and have John Cassaday draw a beautiful comic where Daredevil runs around crippling street thugs and kidnaps an adolescent Foggy Nelson?"

No, actually giving Marvel credit for remembering anything that was published more than 5 years ago would be too generous.

The blog headline was a shameless attention generator for the interweb masses.
